ADAM WEBB WOODWORK

Designer and maker of fine furniture, green woodwork, woodworker.

I enjoy the slow precision involved in making fine furniture, the consideration of each component, the patience, intimate knowledge and skill that is required to produce a piece.

Finely crafted sustainable woodwork

Adam Webb is a designer and maker of fine woodwork, green woodwork, chainsaw miller and general woodworker.

The ethics, sustainability and traceability of wood used is important to Adam.  In practice this often means sourcing timbers direct from local mills that are milling salvaged timbers or using timbers grown in managed forestry.

In recent years Adam has begun sourcing and milling his own timber using an Alaskan Chainsaw mill.  This in turn has increased his understanding of and connection with timber in its most raw sense enabling his work to have a richer story.

In all areas of woodwork Adam utilises time honoured techniques to create heirloom pieces that will last generations and become the antiques of tomorrow.

I draw a lot of inspiration from nature, and I strive to reflect this in my work with simple form and clean lines.
